We have arrived in Guatemala and the trip was unevenful. Our flights were on time and pleasant. We met the team from ASELIA easily and made our way up toward Chichicantenagra. Highway construction slowed down our travel so we arrived later than scheduled so will reschedule some things planed for tommorrow. We are Staying at Manos De Jesus another ministry which has housing and it is a very comfortable place to stay. We had a great meal where we were join by John and Sharon Harvey. After helping with cleanup from dinner we had a group meeting and time of prayer before heading to bed after a long but blessed day. Pray that we will have a successful first full day with God's leading.

Hola! Me llama Allison. My highschool Spanish is coming back to me slowly. Today was an awesome day all around. In the morning we went to ASELSI's campus and toured their facilities. God has blessed them. Later some of us played with the children, and what beautiful children they are. If you know me, you know I think every little kid is the cutest kid to walk the earth, well these kids are of course the cutest ones I've seen. :) Nate you'd be happy to know that these kids can throw a frisbee, far!

Later a few of us dug a trench, I mean a HUGE trench... and then filled it back up (with more fertile dirt).

I can't even tell you how many times I have leaned over to Tim to tell him what kind of bacteria or parasite we could be ingesting... but I know the Lord is keeping us in his hands. I am not worried, so Mom don't you either. :)

Phillip's teaching this evening went well, the Holy Spirit guided his words and the people there were so receptive to hear that Jesus' death didn't just mean our salvation, but so much more.

Thank you for your prayers, God is moving. He has blessed us so much on this trip already, and we're only two days in.

Goodnight! Mom and Dad, I love you!
